As a Founder of Elite Facilities Consulting, I bring over 40 years of engineering leadership and hospitality operations experience to every property I serve. Throughout my career, I have held Director of Engineering roles across premier hotels and resorts in Chicago, Rosemont, Washington, DC, Saint Kitts, Nashville, Barbados, Miami, West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach. My experience spans expansive multi-acre resort environments as well as high-volume luxury hotels with more than 800 rooms, including oversight of multiple properties simultaneously. I have built my career on understanding facilities from the inside out not just at the system level, but at the operational, financial, and leadership levels as well. My expertise includes building systems, equipment lifecycle management, preventative maintenance program implementation, capital planning, energy conservation initiatives, and day-to-day operational leadership. I specialize in developing structured preventative maintenance cultures that reduce emergencies, improve scheduling control, extend asset life cycles, and protect long-term investment value. Beyond infrastructure, I believe strong facilities are built by strong teams. I am deeply committed to employee development through structured training, mentorship, and leadership initiatives that empower engineering departments to operate with confidence and accountability. With over a decade of experience participating in new hotel and resort openings, renovations, and construction projects, I bring valuable insight into planning, commissioning, inspections, system installations, and the development of procedures that ensure successful and sustainable operations from day one. Energy efficiency and sustainability are not afterthoughts they are priorities. My goal is to help properties operate proactively rather than reactively, reduce operational risk, and strengthen overall performance.
